Our/Los Angeles Vodka – A Smooth and Local Los Angeles Vodka

Vodka, although wildly popular, has become more what it appears to be in a bottle, clear, not a lot to it and simply similar to every other vodka that you have ever tried. Creating a unique vodka, not only in the spirit industry, but in each city is something that Our/Vodka set out to do and they accomplished just that.

Instead of mass producing one vodka worldwide, Our/Vodka decided to make a vodka not only unique to the industry, but also unique to each city that they are located. Our/Los Angeles is located downtown Los Angeles in a very unassuming location from the exterior, but once inside you find a stunningly beautiful distillery and tasting room that oozes Los Angeles. Even more than the venue, the Our/Los Angeles is a vodka that Los Angeles can not only call its own, but after tasting it every other city would love to claim it. One of the smoothest vodkas you will ever taste, Our/Los Angeles is created by distiller Samantha Hochhauser using a yeast that is traditionally used in wine making along with a two wheat blend. You don’t have to know what that means during the distilling process, all you really need to know as that once it is all done and is finally poured out of the Our/Los Angeles bottle, you are going to get a vodka so smooth you can drink it simply straight. Nothing needs to be added, you don’t even need ice. You will get a vodka so wonderfully good you will wonder what you have been drinking all of these years.

While the time can experience the tasting room are limited to 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and by appointment other times, Our/Los Angeles has an incredibly tasty treat one Friday each month. Our/Los Angeles teams up with local coffee purveyors to create local and flavorful espresso martinis that are simply perfection.

While Our/Vodka is a global family, they are made up of local partners in cities around the world and each micro-distillery is run independently by people who know and love their city. While the Our/Vodka bottle looks the same, each city gives its own interpretation, character and name to the vodka. The vodka is partly distilled, blended and hand bottled in urban micro-distilleries with ingredients sourced as locally as possible without compromising quality, beginning with the Our/Vodka global recipe.

You can find Our/Vodka in: Detroit, Berlin, Amsterdam, London, New York and coming soon to the lineup is Miami. Each city is unique in the experience as well as the taste and the Our/New York location is the first distillery in Manhattan since Prohibition.
